The Caribbean

FREE Door to Door transfers

The Caribbean is undoubtedly one of the world's greatest yacht cruising grounds.

With its archipelagos of emerald islands, fringed by powder-soft sand and turquoise seas, the Caribbean promises a stunning yachting experience - whether you're diving on wrecks and reefs, dining on gourmet dishes by the moonlit sea, blissing out in a beach hammock or floating in a deep lagoon pool, beneath a waterfall.

To cruise through the Caribbean on your very "own" luxury yacht offers the ultimate way to explore this tropical paradise. For a week or two, you can sample this envious lifestyle on board Ritz-Carlton's Azora in a series of attractive Winter itineraries during early 2020.

During February and March, and in true yachting tradition, the selection of itineraries Ritz-Carlton have curated include a number of traditional yachting havens where the rich and famous head to escape from harsher climates.

British Virgin Islands (BVI)

The best part of any island are the hidden beaches, protected coves, tiny villages and friendly beach bars often unreachable other than by boat.

With verdant rainforests sloping down to sugar white beaches, and turquoise waters concealing coral reefs and shipwrecks, the BVIs tick all the boxes.

Whether it be exploring the main island of Tortola and its capital Road Town, visiting Norman Island, reputed to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's pirate novel Treasure Island, or Jost Van Dyke, the smallest island where fewer than 300 residents call its three square miles home, the area is sure to impress even the most seasoned traveller.

St. Barts, Nevis and Antigua

A little to the south lies another luxury yachting mecca. St. Barts is synonymous with chic celebrity glamour - its pretty St Gustavia port a haven of luxury boutiques and French restaurants among the bougainvillea and cobblestones.

Sister Island of St Kitts, Nevis provides yet another yachting hotspot in the region. Here monkeys cavort in the cool cloud forest and plantation hotels overlook colonial forts and sparkling seas.

Nearby Antigua is a laid-back island boasting an incredible 365 beaches, one for every day of the year!

The Windward Isles

St Lucia is simply breath-taking - its twin Piton peaks looming over picture-perfect beaches. Martinique beckons in the form of Fort-de-France and Le Marin, with its French pavement cafes under the smouldering volcano.

In Dominica, whales frolic just off the beaches and hot springs bubble in the mountainous interior. French Guadeloupe, not to be outdone, lets you escape to islands filled with virtually undisturbed beaches and lush rainforests.

As you move south into St Vincent and the Grenadines, you'll discover a nearly untouched paradise of mountainous islands, spice plantations and silky sand beaches.

More detailed descriptions of each of these amazing island paradises and the ports of call featured can be found within your chosen itinerary
